Description

Update1: Edited and updated some parts, also added some things that I forgot.
Update2: Updated some things again
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Locations:
Many outposts scattered across Europe and small parts of western Asia. Most bigger bases mainly located in America often deep within the colder areas of the badlands.
Origins: Unknown
Strength: Very High
Colors: Red uniform and eyes, dark blue armor.
World wide influence: High-Average
Ruler: Unknown

Lore: Formerly a secret society of cyborgs called the Cyber-Bionic Organization (CBO) in pre-war times. Due to their secrecy, their total number of members remains unknown to this day. The CBO's assumed leader has reportedly been seen only twice in pre-war times. They were the source of many disappearances although nobody really knows what happened to the people they kidnapped. When the war began they remained hidden at first, only to launch a surprise attack out of hidden fallout shelters across the world when everyone was exhausted from their battles. This lead to the complete decimation of many weakened factions as most of them were not prepared for an attack. This action got the Organization a lot of ground very early in the war. Their early successes unfortunately didn't last for very long as the CBO was not prepared to fight against heavy artillery, like tanks and attack choppers. After losing many fights because of this, they re-treated for some time. Now they are back, this time equipped with heavy anti-artillery weaponry and new, specially programmed/trained units, ready to kill everyone and everything in sight.

Policy: They mostly seem to be attacking small outposts of bigger factions and bases of smaller factions. Every outpost and base they defeat will be converted into one of their own and every captured soldier will be brought back to one of their bigger bases in which they are turned into new units. Their true goals are unknown.

Survival: Due to their mostly robotic bodies they need a lot less food or water than normal humans. In fact, they have never been seen raiding any kind of food, only ammunition, scrap metal and other supplies. Small raiding squads are often seen raiding wreckages, like destroyed tanks or buildings, located within the badlands. Their mostly robotic nature also allows them to withstand a lot more cold and radiation compared to normal humans.

Tactical Advantages: Every unit is connected to a hivemind-like network, which allows them to share data, like battle situation, strategies, etc., in a matter of seconds regardless of distance between individual units. This network makes it almost impossible to attack them via stealth, as a sudden disconnection from the network sends an alert to all other units. They always fight in big "squads" which are made up of varied formations of unit-types and are often lead by a Commander Unit. The units themselves are equipped with an arsenal of high-tech weaponry and bullet/explosion proof armor. In addition to their armor, many parts of their bodies are made out of strong metal plating, making them a lot tougher than any normal soldier.

Tactical Disadvantages: Even though their network intelligence gives them a big advantage, it leaves most common units with only very little personal memory space (more advanced units like the Commander and Anti-Artillery Units do not have this problem). This lack of memory capacity limits most units to only being able to learn one proffession. For example, the Frontline Unit is a master at using rifles for long- to mid-range combat, but are almost completely useless in close-range, where on the other side the Close Quarters Unit is very deadly at close range, but lacks the capability of fighting from a bigger distance. Due to this memory problem, every squad has a variation of atleast two different unit-types. Unfortunately this has lead to most squads having a rather inconsistent firepower. This might just be a smaller problem, but it can still be exploited with the right strategy. Another one of their weaknesses is that they heavily rely on their numbers. The CRNO's network intelligence is at it's fullest potential the more units are connected, which means that each squad slowly becomes weaker with every loss of a unit. Furthermore, killing a Commander Unit has shown to temporarily scatter a squads strategic abilities. One of their biggest disadvantages remains to be their lack of any kind of artillery or vehicles.
